Remote Recruitment is looking for a Web Designer to create clear, responsive websites from approved briefs. This fully remote role is based in South Africa and suits someone who combines visual design with practical website-building skills.
What you will do
- Turn approved briefs into clear page layouts and design concepts.
- Build responsive pages using the agreed website platform.
- Apply brand assets and maintain consistent typography and spacing.
- Check navigation, links and page behaviour across screen sizes.
- Review usability and identify issues before handover.
- Incorporate feedback and maintain organised design and build files.
- Document changes and communicate progress against agreed milestones.
What we are looking for
- A website portfolio showing practical design and build experience.
- An understanding of responsive layouts and user-friendly navigation.
- The ability to work from briefs and implement feedback accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence checking your work across devices.
- The ability to work independently and communicate progress reliably.
- Reliable internet and a suitable remote-working space.
Nice to have
- Experience using Figma and WordPress.
- Awareness of accessible design principles.
What is on offer
- Monthly remuneration of R24,000 to R35,000, depending on relevant skills and experience.
