  • Organize, train, and lead cross-functional site EHS committees to foster open communication across internal, external, and remote staff.

Systems, Programs & Compliance:

  • Collaborate with site leadership to integrate the Global EHS Management System framework into local daily operations, ensuring compliance and risk management are embedded into standard procedures.
  • Create and maintain programs that ensure safeguards, regulatory due diligence, and compliance with all safety and environmental permits.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and host for all EHS-related regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Oversee a contractor safety management program to verify that external vendors are properly vetted, onboarded, and aligned with all site EHS expectations before performing work.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and building landlords to resolve any facility-related EHS issues that impact operations.

Hazard Mitigation, Risk Assessment & Operations:

  • Analyze work environments, conduct workplace inspections, and recommend actionable solutions to improve safety standards.
  • Assess, track, and analyze EHS data to proactively identify performance trends and risk areas.
  • Oversee the safe handling, use, disposal, and proper documentation of hazardous materials and waste.
  • Play a lead role in site emergency preparedness and response coordination.

Training, Incident Analysis & Continuous Learning:

  • Conduct on-site safety training and onboarding programs that build the technical competency of front-line employees and support managers in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Lead and document incident investigations using root-cause analysis, focusing on system learning and preventing future recurrence.
  • Improve EHS record generation and maintenance to provide clear evidence of compliance and program activities.
  • Act as the primary interface with other Repligen locations and EHS leaders to share best practices and initiatives.
