Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a strong, hands-on, versatile, and highly autonomous Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Finance IT Engineering team. Working within a lean, high-impact team alongside Data Engineers, you will play a dual role in extending backend integration services and enabling data visibility and interaction for business stakeholders.

You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. In addition, you will contribute to REST API implementation and data pipelines. We are seeking someone with strong experience in full-stack development and enterprise application engineering, with expertise in React, TypeScript, Modern JavaScript (ES6+), Go/Python, AWS, HTML5, and CSS3. The candidate will contribute across design, development, deployment, and lifecycle management of applications and services.

Background:

Our client has embarked on a strategic Billing Transformation program to fundamentally redesign and modernize the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash landscape. This greenfield transformation brings together SaaS platforms such as Oracle Fusion and Oracle RMB, engineered applications and services, APIs and integrations, and data products to create a modern, scalable technology ecosystem. Quality engineering and automation are central to the program, enabling continuous testing and reliable delivery across complex, cross-product business journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

- Own frontend architecture decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, performant, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.

- Integrate APIs and backend services to support end-to-end application functionality.

- Develop low-latency, scalable RESTful APIs using Go.

- Contribute to backend service development, supporting event-driven microservices and integration patterns in collaboration with Data Engineers.

- Design, build, and maintain high-value internal applications tailored to different user personas and workflow needs.

- Define and enforce technical standards, design patterns, and best practices across development, security, and application architecture.

- Drive observability practices using tools such as Datadog and Grafana to monitor application and infrastructure health.

- Collaborate with distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

- Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, Modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.

- Experience with Next.js or other modern React frameworks.

- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, state management, and performance optimization.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and frontend security best practices.

- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Hands-on experience with Go/Python for backend development.

- Understanding of SOLID principles, dependency injection, and robust error-handling patterns.

- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudWatch.

- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).

- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.

- Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, or equivalent.

- Understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in full-stack development.

- Proven experience building full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices using Go/Python.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.

Nice to Have:

- Experience building AI-powered conversational experiences, chatbots, or virtual assistants.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Copilot extensibility, custom agents, plugins, or agentic AI frameworks.
