Power the future of public mobility.
Ridango builds account-based ticketing and mobility platforms used by public transport authorities and operators worldwide. Our systems span backend services, web applications, hardware devices, and real-time integrations - all working together to keep people moving at scale.
We're looking for a QA Engineerto join our Tallinn QA team. This isn't a checkbox-testing role. You'll be diving deep into complex systems, hunting down elusive bugs, and building automation that makes the whole team faster.
What you'll do:
You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to validate new features, investigate issues, and scale automated test coverage using Playwright and TypeScript. Day to day, that means:
- System-level verification across backend services, APIs, web interfaces, and device integrations.
- Planning, executing, and reporting on testing activities to keep releases sharp.
- Investigating complex behaviour by digging into logs, data flows, and system responses.
- Supporting validation in real-world environments that mix software with physical hardware.
- Basic understanding of test automation principles and workflows
- Spotting risks early and keeping production environments stable.
- Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work.
What you'll bring:
- Solid QA experience across complex, multi-component systems.
- Understanding of how test automation works and familiarity with automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar).
- Experience working with AI tools in testing and day-to-day tasks.
- Confidence testing APIs, backend services, and databases (PostgreSQL experience is a plus).
- Ability to debug issues by reading logs and tracing system behaviour - not just reproducing them.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach across technical and product teams.
Bonus points forexperience withAFC/AVL systems, hardware/software systems, real-time or IoT environments, or transportation platforms.
