This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineering Manager (Core Workspaces) based in Canada.
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team building the systems that power modern, agentic software development environments.
You’ll shape technical direction across agent execution, integrations, developer workflows, and the underlying workspace experience.
The role combines hands-on technical leadership with team development, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll help make AI agents more capable, reliable, observable, and useful across real-world development environments.
Working closely with Engineering, Product, and Design, you’ll turn rapidly evolving AI capabilities into practical developer experiences.
You’ll operate in a technically ambitious environment spanning distributed systems, LLMs, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling.
This is an opportunity to influence foundational technology while growing engineers and raising the execution and technical standards of the team.
