Clients: mid-market and large-cap PE funds across the UK, Europe and the US.
Operating model: flat and AI-leveraged. Senior people work directly on the deal, supported by AI rather than layers of juniors.
Team: a blend of DD consultants, PE portfolio operators, AI advisors and AI engineers, with advisory and engineering working side by side.

Engagement Manager, Advisory · London (in office 4-5 days a week) · Full-time
This is not a typical Engagement Manager role. You will be a key hire working side by side with our Founding Director of Advisory, leading live diligence on PE deals, owning workstreams end to end, and helping build the advisory practice from the ground up.
You will have the autonomy of a founder, the exposure of a partner, and the tools of an AI-native firm. Your work will show up directly in investment decisions, in our product and in how Riplo grows.
What you'll do
Deliver diligence
Lead day-to-day execution of CDD and AI DD projects for PE clients, from kick-off to final report.
Structure the key questions, build the workplan and own core workstreams: market sizing, competitive landscape, customer research, business plan review and AI/tech assessment.
Turn analysis into a clear, investment-grade storyline and co-present findings directly to deal teams.
Deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Build the practice
Assist with producing thought leadership and marketing collateral (sector notes, whitepapers, LinkedIn content).
Help scope and write proposals, and support pitches to new and existing funds.
Support relationship building with PE funds and corporate finance advisors.
Embed AI in how we work
Use AI tools at every step: research, data analysis, interview synthesis, modelling and slide production.
Work with our engineers to improve Riplo's platform and diligence workflows.
Build reusable assets that make each project faster than the last.
What you'll bring
6-7 years in diligence consulting.
Strong commercial due diligence track record for PE clients, ideally at a transaction advisory firm or broader management consulting experience with a focus on technology, software or AI.
Sharp commercial acumen: you quickly get to what drives a business and what matters for the investment case.
Proven execution: you have run workstreams and teams and delivered under tight deal timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including senior client and investor audiences.
AI fluency: you already use AI tools daily and can show how they make your work faster and better.
