  • Produce test reports that non-technical stakeholders can read, including status, failure detail, logs, and screenshots. Track and manage defects, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.
  • Extend and enhance API testing frameworks and scripts while also participating in manual testing of user interfaces and customer-facing features.
  • Create and maintain documentation of test processes and quality metrics.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, to ensure test coverage and workload balance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, and 10 years of related experience (8 years with a master’s degree).
  • Strong Java programming skills, including object-oriented design, the Collections Framework, exception handling, and Java 8 or later features such as streams and lambdas.
  • Demonstrated experience building Java-based test automation frameworks from scratch and maintaining them over time.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Test Engineer in an Agile environment.
  • Hands-on experience testing web-based applications (both front-end UI and back-end services).
  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, at minimum. A higher-level AWS certification (Associate, Professional, or Specialty) also meets this requirement.
