Your Tasks
- Design, supervise the construction of, and commission launch and test site infrastructure
- Drive requirements for the layout and design of various sites
- Design and guide the implementation of LV/MV power distribution systems for launch and test site infrastructure
- Manage and enforce documentation standards across different systems
- Guide junior engineers and technicians in implementing new system designs
- Report progress to the team leader
- Work closely with engineers and technicians from different backgrounds and across different teams within RFA
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring requirements are communicated and met
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, commissioning, or operating electrical power distribution systems
- Strong experience with industrial AC power distribution, including LV/MV switchgear, distribution boards, transformers, protection and grounding systems
- Solid knowledge of power system design and analysis, including load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, protection coordination.
- Proven ability to develop and review single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical system documentation
- Experience taking electrical systems from concept and detailed design through installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with IEC/BS standards is highly desirable
- Hands-on mentality with the ability and willingness to work directly on hardware, installations, testing, and troubleshooting
- Comfortable taking ownership of complex projects and working independently with limited supervision
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English
