Join ROLLER, a leading SaaS company in the leisure and attractions industry. As a Solutions Engineer, you will own the end-to-end pre-sales process, partnering with Account Executives to qualify and progress new business while running technical validation. You will engage prospects and customers in French, collaborate with global teams in English, and contribute to ROLLER's growth in the French market.
Missions
- Champion MEDDICC qualification across your pipeline: identifying Economic Buyers, mapping Decision Criteria and Process, surfacing Implicated Pain, and maintaining a clear, honest view of deal health at all times.
- Lead technical & value based discovery with prospects, diagnosing operational and revenue pain points and connecting them explicitly to the value ROLLER delivers.
- Own the technical pre-sales process: running tailored product demonstrations, managing technical validation, and handling integration and configuration questions across the standard deal motion.
Profil recherché
- Strong discovery skills. You ask the questions that open up a deal, surface real pain, and expose the risks that could kill it later- Competitive and driven. You want to win, and you know how to build a case that does
- Must be a C1 fluent French speaker
- Proven ability to build and present business cases to economic buyers, including at the executive level
- Deep, practised familiarity with MEDDICC or an equivalent qualification methodology. You use it as a daily operating lens, not an occasional reference
- Travel may be required up to 30%
- Experience in leisure, attractions, hospitality, or entertainment is a plus, but commercial instinct and methodology matter most
- Genuine commercial instinct: you think in business outcomes and ROI, and you can articulate ROLLER's value in terms that resonate with a CFO or Head of Operations
- Familiarity with value or solution selling frameworks (Command of the Message, Challenger, SCIPAB) is a strong advantage
- Technical confidence to run demos, handle product and integration questions, and manage a standard technical evaluation
- Experience with Salesforce as your CRM of record
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate confidently with internal teams and stakeholders across EMEA and globally
- Strong executive presence and communication: credible in a boardroom, compelling on a screen
- 3+ years in a Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, or commercial pre-sales role within a SaaS company
- Experience with API concepts and standard integration patterns, enough to have an informed conversation without an SA in the room
- Exposure to ROLLER's product categories: ticketing, POS, memberships, waivers, self-serve kiosks, payments
- Experience working with API integrations and API development tools such as Postman and Swagger
- Experience in pre-sale (Solution Architecture, Solution Engineering, Sales) is a plus
- Experience in the leisure and attractions industry is a plus
