Waiter/Waitress

Key responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, explain menu items, promotions, and daily specials.
• Take guest orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages according to company standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Check on guests during their meal and handle concerns or complaints professionally.
• Prepare and present bills accurately and process guest payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
• Set up and clear tables efficiently before, during, and after service.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Support colleagues and assist with restaurant operations as required.
• Attend departmental training and meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good grooming and professional appearance.
