Cafe Supervisor

As a Cafe Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily cafe operations, leading the service team, and ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily cafe operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, guide, and support front-of-house and service crew to maintain high service standards.
• Monitor staff attendance, duty assignments, work schedules, and daily manpower arrangements.
• Oversee customer service, cashiering, order taking, and food and beverage service.
• Ensure the barista station, dining areas, and other operational areas are properly maintained and organised.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Support the planning, preparation, and execution of birthday parties, private events, and other cafe activities.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory usage, and replenishment of operational supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in staff training, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of daily operations.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and operational checks.
• Identify operational issues and take appropriate action to ensure smooth cafe operations.
• Perform other operational duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in cafe, restaurant, hospitality, or F&B operations, preferably in a supervisory or team-leading role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of front-of-house operations, customer service, and basic F&B procedures.
• Hands-on, responsible, proactive, and able to lead by example.
• Able to manage staff, coordinate daily operations, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Customer-oriented, friendly, and comfortable interacting with children and families.
• Able to work independently and make sound operational decisions when required.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, inventory management, and basic reporting is an advantage.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts based on operational requirements.
