Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare files needed for localization, hand-offs to vendors and hand-backs from vendors
- Create or modify processes and tools necessary for localization process
- Investigate localization issues/bugs and propose or makes fixes
- Communicate with vendors and provide technical support with CAT tools
- Create or modify documentation for new or existing processes and tools
- Create or modify processes, tools and scripts needed for building process
- Analyze new projects to identify potential engineering related issues
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working in localization engineering or with localization processes
- Basic programming skills (especially Python)
- Knowledge of regular expressions (Regex)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of additional localization file formats (e.g., JSON, YAML, XLIFF, RESX)
- Familiarity with CAT tools and localization technologies
