Technology Project Manager, DevOps & Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Etobicoke (3x/week - Hybrid)
Overview:
Our payments client is seeking a Technology Project Manager with knowledge of Development Operations (DevOps) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to lead infrastructure tooling and process implementation projects.
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for existing projects covering SRE Maturity, Certificate Management and Secrets Management. The client is looking to onboard quickly, as some projects are awaiting a new Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead the SRE Maturity, Certificate Management and Secrets Management projects.
- Manage the implementation of tools and processes within DevOps and SRE.
- Assume responsibility for existing projects and progress delivery against agreed objectives.
- Apply a mix of Agile and Waterfall techniques to meet project objectives.
- Use Jira to support project delivery.
- Deliver projects on time, on budget, within defined scope and according to agreed specifications.
- Support the achievement of defined benefits and project success metrics.
- May also lead a Centralized Logging project starting in Q2.
Must-Haves
- Technology project management experience, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget and delivery.
- Specific knowledge of DevOps and SRE within infrastructure technology environments.
- Ability to manage projects implementing technical tools and operational processes.
- Experience applying Agile and Waterfall delivery techniques.
- Jira experience.
