Sabre is an American travel technology company whose reservation system was built by American Airlines in 1960 to replace a manual card-file booking process, and which was spun out as an independent business in 2000. It operates one of the two dominant global distribution systems connecting travel agencies to airline and hotel inventory, and it sells the passenger service systems and retailing software airlines run on. Headquartered in Southlake, Texas and listed on Nasdaq, it has carried heavy debt since the pandemic collapsed travel volumes and has been divesting parts of its portfolio to reduce it.

Powering the agentic revolution in travel. Sabre is an AI-native technology leader, backed by one of the world’s largest travel data clouds. Built on an open, modular, cloud-native architecture, Sabre serves as the backbone for both established leaders and bold, new disruptors, guiding them to the next age of travel retailing through intelligent, connected, and personalized experiences. With AI at its core and operating at unparalleled scale, Sabre transforms insights into innovation, empowering airlines, hoteliers, agencies and other partners to retail, distribute and fulfill travel worldwide.

We are seeking a Sales Support Manager to join our global Airline Solutions Operations team. This team plays a critical role in improving commercial operations, managing airline technology change requests and ensuring accurate customer billing across our airline solutions portfolio.

In this role, you will work closely with senior commercial, product, technology and finance leaders to improve operational efficiency, strengthen contract compliance and protect revenue. You will have significant exposure across Sabre's global organization and the opportunity to shape processes that support our airline customers.

As Sales Support Manager, you will take ownership of complex operational initiatives across three key areas: Change Request (CR) management, customer billing compliance and airline messaging services. This role requires someone with sharp commercial acumen, operational rigor and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a global matrix environment.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate the end-to-end Change Request (CR) estimation process, track deliverables and timelines, resolve bottlenecks and escalate delays to ensure timely execution.
  • Work with technology partners, and internal Product and Technology teams to monitor service commitments, resolve issues and improve operational performance.
  • Review airline customer agreements and billing records to identify discrepancies, validate charges and resolve issues with Sales, Finance and Billing teams.
  • Review contractual billing arrangements for web services, APIs, EDIFACT and other airline messaging transactions to identify inaccuracies and prevent potential revenue leakage.
  • Establish clear operational workflows, tracking mechanisms and performance indicators, while supporting process automation and system improvements to increase efficiency and transparency.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across global teams to drive timely decisions, resolve operational challenges and present performance updates and recommendations to leadership and steering committees.

What you'll bring

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in airline technology, enterprise IT services or technology consulting, including substantial experience in commercial operations, account management or technology delivery.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial agreements, customer billing processes and revenue-related workflows, with the ability to interpret contractual terms and identify billing discrepancies.
  • Working knowledge of technology concepts such as APIs, web services, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional activities, manage competing priorities and influence senior stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience managing operational tracking and reporting.
  • High level of initiative, self-motivation and accountability.

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong understanding of airline business operations and technology solutions, including EDIFACT, NDC and how airline systems and services interact.
  • Experience coordinating third-party technology vendors, managing commercial change requests or ensuring customer billing compliance.
  • Experience with workflow management systems, process automation and operational improvement initiatives.
