About Our Family

We are a small, close-knit family nestled in the woods outside of Ashland, Oregon - a home that runs on intention, clean living, and a deep love for animals. Our household includes a happy baby, sprawling and beloved animals (cats, dogs, chickens, snake, spider and hamster), and a whole lot of heart. One of us stays home full-time with our daughter; the other works from a separate on-property space most days.

We eat clean, live chemical-free, and approach life with an open, spiritual mindset. Our home reflects who we are - warm, earthy, and full of life - and we take pride in the systems and rhythms we've built to keep it running well. We have strong systems in place to help create a calm energy throughout the house and look forward to maintaining those.

We are looking for someone who thrives working independently, brings focus and positive energy to the space, and genuinely loves what they do. The right person won't need to be managed - they'll arrive, assess, and get to work, making our home hum without us having to think about it. This is a household that values quiet competence, accountability, and a deep respect for boundaries. We want our home in great hands so we can be fully present for the moments that matter most.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are a professional by nature - punctual, detail-oriented, and quietly excellent at what you do. You don't wait to be told what needs doing; you notice and handle it. You are an introvert at heart, or at the very least someone who understands the value of professional boundaries in a private home. You show up, do the work, and give the family the space to simply enjoy their day to day routines.

You are an animal lover through and through. Not just comfortable with pets - genuinely delighted by them, even the unique ones. You're the kind of person who considers caring for animals a privilege, not a chore.

Comfort and ease around babies and children is important to us. While this role does not currently include direct childcare, we’re excited about the possibility of growing our family in the near future. We’d love to welcome someone into our home who genuinely enjoys children and would be happy to be part of our household as our family grows and evolves.

You communicate clearly and directly, take feedback as a gift, and follow through on what you say you'll do. You are health-conscious and aligned with a clean, organic, intentional lifestyle. You are open-minded and comfortable in a spiritually expressive home environment. You don't need constant direction, check-ins, or hand-holding - you take ownership and bring pride to your work.
