About Our Family
We're a blended family settling into a beautiful new home in Potomac, MD. With two teenagers at home , a household that runs at a full, active pace, and two adults with busy professional lives and frequent travel, we're building something great here - and we need the right person to help us run it smoothly.
Our home is warm and welcoming, and we're looking for support that matches that energy. We value professionalism, trust, and someone who takes genuine pride in the spaces they care for. As we prepare for upcoming home renovations and settle into a new chapter, we want a partner who can grow with us - someone who brings fresh ideas, steady hands, and a calm, capable presence to our household.
There’s a mix of everyday responsibilities - laundry and wardrobe care, tidying, meal prep, errands, unpacking after travel, vendor coordination, and occasional pick-ups - as well as opportunities to help us create better systems and routines as we settle into our home.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You’re warm, dependable, and highly capable - the kind of person who can walk into our home, notice what needs attention, and comfortably jump in. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, whether that means tackling a pile of laundry, prepping something for dinner, organizing a space, running an errand, or coordinating with a vendor.
You’re naturally independent and proactive, but you’re also a thoughtful communicator and understand the importance of learning our preferences and rhythms. Once you know how the household operates, you’re comfortable taking ownership and keeping things moving without needing a detailed task list each day.
You appreciate the details that make our home feel good - clothes cared for properly, spaces reset and organized, travel items unpacked and put away, and everyday tasks handled before they become another thing on the family’s list.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a warm, professional, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude who genuinely enjoys supporting our household. We hope to find someone who will feel valued here, take pride in the role, and grow into a trusted, long-term part of our village.
