Role Overview
You are the dedicated technical and business lead for a portfolio of strategic Italian Financial Services accounts. You partner with Account Executives to shape account strategy and turn complex customer challenges into differentiated, value-led solutions. These span Agentforce, Data 360, Financial Services Cloud, Service, Sales, Slack, MuleSoft and Tableau. You are a trusted advisor to C-level, business and IT stakeholders at major Italian banks, insurers and asset managers. You also multiply the impact of the Italy SE team through mentoring and by sharing best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Account strategy: Co-own account plans and white-space analysis with the AE. Focus on priorities such as customer 360, relationship manager and advisor productivity, digital onboarding, claims and servicing, and agentic AI in customer engagement.
- Executive engagement: Lead discovery, value workshops and executive briefings in Italian and English. Build business cases and ROI narratives.
- Solution design: Design end-to-end architectures and deliver tailored demos, PoCs and technical validation. Address integration with core banking and insurance platforms, security, and compliance. Use Agentforce Voice in Italian where relevant.
- Deal leadership: Lead the technical win strategy on complex multi-cloud deals. Manage RFPs and competitive positioning. Orchestrate partners (including Italian SIs), specialists, Overlay and FDE/Architect resources across the South region.
- Regulatory and market expertise: Stay current on DORA, GDPR, PSD2/open banking, Bank of Italy and IVASS requirements, EBA outsourcing guidelines, MiFID II, Solvency II and data residency. Position Salesforce's trust and EU data-residency posture with Risk, Compliance and Security teams.
- Team leadership: Mentor and coach SEs. Lead by example on demo quality, discovery and storytelling. Contribute to the AI Atelier (AI use cases, patterns, prompts and the vibe-coding club) and to reusable Financial Services playbooks. Support the SE Italy management team on enablement and talent development.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Product, Industry Solutions, Customer Success, Partners and the South region leadership. Bring customer feedback to the roadmap and drive adoption and value realization.
- Hygiene and forecasting: Keep opportunity and activity records accurate in Salesforce. Support pipeline reviews and forecast accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in pre-sales, solution consulting or architecture, with significant Financial Services experience in the Italian market.
- Proven record of leading technical strategy on large, strategic enterprise deals.
- Deep knowledge of CRM and digital transformation in banking, insurance or wealth management.
- Strong grasp of generative and agentic AI, data unification, integration and security.
- Executive presence, storytelling and value-selling skills.
- Experience coaching or mentoring peers.
- Fluent Italian and English.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (Financial Services Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud, Solution Architect).
- Background in an Italian financial institution, a core-banking or insurance vendor, or a consultancy.
- Hands-on experience with vibe-coding tools (Agentforce Vibes, Claude Code, Cursor) for demos and configuration.
- Experience with regulated-industry compliance in the EU.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is EUR 70.425 to EUR 94,200 annually.
