About this role

We are seeking a Senior Lead, Motion Design specialized in 3D & Spatial Systems to architect the dimensional and environmental assets of Salesforce’s global visual language. This is a systems-level design leadership role focused on origination rather than simple asset production or adaptation.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Motion Design, you will act as the technical and creative custodian for 3D environments, character structures, and spatial standards. You will leverage an AI-forward production pipeline to deliver cinematic-grade quality at enterprise scale, ensuring everything created in the MXC node is modular, optimized, and engineered for global export.

What you will do:

• Spatial Systems Architecture: Build and maintain the foundational 3D motion standards, spatial frameworks, and lighting environments that define the brand’s dimensional aesthetic across physical and digital stages.
• Character Integrity & Custody: Govern the technical and behavioral standards for brand characters like Astro and friends, ensuring precise mesh fidelity, rigging standards, and consistent material behaviors.
• Agentic Production Scaling: Embrace and deploy generative AI pipelines to accelerate complex 3D rendering, simulation, and texture workflows, boosting iteration speed while maintaining a high-fidelity "Maker" craft.
• Global Library Integratio n: Systematize 3D assets into modular, reusable toolkits, enabling global creative teams to scale environments consistently across different regions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Senior Manager and Creative Directors to align spatial standards with broader global product narratives and monumental experiential events like Dreamforce.

What experience you have:

• 8+ Years of Elite Craft: Proven experience in high-end 3D animation, motion systems design, and creative execution within a world-class agency, production house, or top-tier client group.
• Sophisticated System Design: A portfolio showcasing deep knowledge of spatial typography, camera choreography, cinematic lighting, and systemic brand toolkits (not just one-off commercial videos).
• Technical Software Mastery: Expert command of Cinema 4D or Blender for 3D modeling, rigging, and animation reviews, seamlessly integrated with Adobe After Effects for final system compositing and quality control.
• AI-Augmented Workflow Fluency: Hands-on experience or deep technical understanding of utilizing generative AI tools as leverage for texturing, rapid prototyping, and workflow speed multipliers.
• Executive Communication: Full professional fluency in English to effectively deliver art direction, write detailed technical briefs, and present systems logic to global stakeholders.
