Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Overview

Seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and scale high-quality applications while driving engineering best practices and supporting team growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications

Own features end-to-end (design → deployment)

Contribute to architecture and technical decisions

Ensure code quality, testing, and best practices

Mentor and support junior developers

Troubleshoot and optimise system performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams Key Skills

Technical Ruby on Rails (modern practices)

REST APIs & integrations

PostgreSQL / MySQL

Frontend tools (Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus - advantageous)

Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Docker & CI/CD pipelines Experience 5-8+ years software development experience

Experience building production-grade applications Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset

Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively
