Job Summary

The CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) Manager is responsible for managing multiple US-based client accounts, overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. The role includes reviewing the work of junior staff, leading offshore teams, and serving as the primary client relationship owner.

In addition to operational oversight, the manager provides strategic accounting advisory support, strengthens internal controls, improves financial processes through technology, and acts as a trusted advisor to clients' leadership teams to enhance overall financial management.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, extensive QuickBooks Online experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record managing multiple US clients simultaneously.

Experience

• 10+ years of accounting experience
• a minimum of 4+ years, particularly in US accounting.
• a minimum of 4+ years in a CAS / outsourced accounting environment
• Experience managing multiple US-based clients simultaneously
• Experience reviewing and managing work performed by offshore accounting teams
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Financial statement preparation and review
• Month-end close management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial reporting and analysis

Client Management

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to independently lead client meetings
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Strongly Preferred

• Currently managing or recently managed a portfolio of 510+ US clients
• Experience acting as the primary client relationship owner
• Experience presenting financial results and recommendations directly to business owners, executives, or leadership teams
