Location:

This is a hybrid role based out of our Gurugram office. To balance collaboration and flexibility, we work from the office 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) and from home the remaining days (Monday & Friday).

The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager at Sauce Labs, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of key products within our portfolio. This role will be leading developer-tooling for AI-native product portfolio, working closely with teams and customers across multiple regions. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet customer needs and support the company's overall strategy. You’ll be a key decision-maker in shaping product direction from new concepts to aligning pricing packaging, partners approach, and will mentor and guide other product managers.

Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy:

• Define and communicate the product vision and long-term strategy to stakeholders and team members.
• Lead market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Align product strategy with overall business goals, ensuring product efforts drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Be able to lead overall ROI analysis for new product initiatives including pricing and packaging
• Experience working with partners and 3rd party developer ecosystem

Product Roadmap Ownership:

• Develop and manage the product roadmap, balancing short-term opportunities with long-term strategic priorities.
• Prioritise initiatives based on customer needs, market demands, and business objectives.
• Make strategic decisions about product scope, investment, and trade-offs in collaboration with senior leadership.

Product Development Leadership:

• Work closely with engineering, design, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Lead product discovery processes, including user research, market validation, and prototyping.
• Define and document detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications for features and functionality.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, leadership, and development teams.
• Effectively communicate product plans, status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Champion a customer-first mindset across the organisation, advocating for end-user needs and experiences.

Performance Measurement & Optimisation:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product success and business impact.
• Lead post-launch analysis to assess performance, gather feedback, and prioritize improvements.
• Use data-driven decision-making to continuously iterate and optimize product features and customer experiences.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Mentor and guide junior product managers, sharing knowledge and providing feedback to improve their performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.
• Support the product team in implementing best practices, refining processes, and adopting new tools or methodologies.

Risk Management & Problem Solving:

• Anticipate risks or challenges during product development and work proactively to resolve issues.
• Manage trade-offs between features, quality, and timelines to maintain a healthy balance in the product delivery process.
• Ensure products comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a senior PM role.Past Business consulting, Pricing and Packaging experience is a must have for this role. 
• Experience managing AI-native technical products catering for developers, SDKs, APIs, and product integrations is a must.
• Proven track record of leading successful product launches and managing complex product portfolios. 
• Business acumen along with technical expertise to enable complete cradle to grave lifecycle management of product portfolio.
• Experience working in agile development environments and leading cross-functional teams.

Skills:

• Product management experience supporting Developer Tools, Observability, Analytics or Infrastructure is preferred. You will be supporting a technical product, and ensuring focus on the developer experience, and core Engineering personas. 
• Experience leading and managing AI-driven products is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
• Expertise in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Productboard).
• Ability to work with high-level stakeholders and lead strategic discussions.
• Familiarity with user experience design, A/B testing, and product analytics.
