About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Intermediate QA Tester to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and fellow testers to ensure our software products meet high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or defects
Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Suggest process improvements to enhance product quality and testing efficiency
Work with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in software testing or QA
Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with both manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress)
Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
ISTQB certification or similar
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Exposure to performance or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, OWASP ZAP)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git )
