Senior Product Owner

Position Overview

This is more than a job-it's an opportunity to shape the future of digital banking. As an AI Product Owner at SBS, you will owns the DE AI use-case backlog end-to-end - from validated concept to production release - and is the single accountable interface between the DE product squads, the SBS AI Platform team and DE Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the DE AI use-case backlog: discover, validate, prioritise and sequence use cases across DBS, OB and Premium AI.
• Translate use cases into engineering-ready specs with acceptance criteria, evaluation metrics and guardrails.
• Act as the DE liaison into the SBS AI Platform team and AI Council.
• Run the post-launch feedback loop: adoption, quality, drift and iteration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product ownership / product engineering, ideally 1-2 on AI or ML-powered products.
• Hands-on with LLMs, experience with RAG, agentic patterns, evaluation frameworks and guardrail design.
• Banking / financial services domain knowledge (DB, OB, payments, KYC/AML preferred).
• Strong backlog discipline and written specs; comfortable with probabilistic systems and trade-offs.
