Sales & Customer Service Representative - (LATAM)
Location: LATAM Remote | Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday | U.S. Business Hours (PST, CST, or EST)
Compensation: $1,250 USD/month for the first 90 days / $1,500 USD/month after that
About the Role
This is a sales-first role for someone who knows how to turn conversations into opportunities and opportunities into customers.
Approximately 80% of your focus will be sales and 20% customer service. You’ll own inbound and outbound lead communication, follow up consistently, qualify prospects, overcome objections, book appointments, and help move customers through the sales process.
This is not a passive customer service position. We’re looking for someone comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations, following up multiple times, and asking for the sale.
You’ll also support existing customers when needed, making sure communication remains professional, responsive, and organized throughout the customer journey.
If you’re competitive, organized, comfortable with targets, and enjoy talking to people, this could be a strong fit.
What You'll Actually Do
- Sales & Lead Conversion
Own inbound leads and actively work them through the sales process. Qualify prospects, understand their needs, present the right solution, handle objections, and move conversations toward a clear next step or sale.
- Outbound Sales & Follow-Up
Make outbound calls, send SMS and email follow-ups, reconnect with previous inquiries, and consistently work open opportunities. Leads should never disappear because someone forgot to follow up.
- Appointment Setting & Closing
Book qualified appointments, confirm attendance, follow up after conversations, and close opportunities when appropriate.
- CRM & Pipeline Management
Keep every lead, opportunity, follow-up, note, status, and disposition accurate and up to date. Maintain a clean pipeline so the team always knows where every opportunity stands.
- Customer Service Support
Assist existing customers with questions, scheduling, updates, and general service needs while identifying opportunities for additional services when relevant.
- Objection Handling
Confidently navigate common objections around pricing, timing, competition, and customer hesitation without becoming overly aggressive or transactional.
- Reactivation & Upselling
Re-engage old leads and past customers while identifying opportunities for repeat business, additional services, or upsells when appropriate.
Expectations
- Maintain consistent outbound sales activity every day
- Respond quickly to new inbound leads and customer inquiries
- Follow up persistently until there is a clear outcome
- Convert qualified leads into appointments and customers
- Meet or exceed established sales and conversion targets
- Maintain a clean and accurate CRM pipeline
- Handle high daily call and message volume without sacrificing communication quality
- Communicate confidently and professionally over phone, SMS, and email
- Track follow-ups carefully so no lead or opportunity falls through the cracks
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Take ownership of results rather than waiting for constant direction
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, inside sales, appointment setting, or similar customer-facing roles
- At least 2 years of direct sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience handling inbound and outbound sales conversations
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and follow-ups
- Experience working with sales targets, KPIs, quotas, or conversion goals
- Strong objection-handling and closing skills
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceTitan, Zoho, or similar
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
What Success Looks Like
You’re not just answering messages-you’re creating revenue.
Success in this role means leads are contacted quickly, follow-ups happen consistently, appointments are booked, opportunities move through the pipeline, and qualified prospects become customers.
At the same time, existing customers receive responsive and professional support that strengthens the relationship and creates opportunities for repeat business.
Your performance will be measured primarily through sales activity, conversion, follow-up execution, pipeline management, and revenue-related results, with customer service quality as an important secondary component.
