Role Overview :
As an Engineering Manager based in Bangalore, you will serve as a pivotal leader responsible for steering high-performing engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle.
You will bridge the gap between complex technical architecture and strategic business objectives, working closely with product managers, cross-functional stakeholders, and global clients to deliver scalable solutions.
Your day-to-day involves mentoring senior engineers, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the seamless delivery of robust applications.
By fostering a culture of innovation and operational rigor, you will directly influence the company's product roadmap, ensuring our platforms provide exceptional value and reliability to our end users.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams to foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and technical ownership.
- Architect and oversee the development of scalable enterprise applications using .Net, C#, and Java to ensure high availability and performance for our global customer base.
- Drive the migration and optimization of cloud-native infrastructure on Azure to improve system reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences using React.js and React Native, ensuring consistency across web and mobile platforms.
- Implement agile best practices and engineering standards to streamline delivery cycles and improve the overall quality of software releases.
- Partner with senior leadership to align engineering initiatives with long-term business goals, ensuring technology investments translate into measurable growth.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale engineering teams with 7 - 17 years of professional experience in software development and leadership.
- Proven ability to design and maintain complex systems using .Net, C#, and Java, with a deep understanding of backend architecture and microservices.
- Strong proficiency in cloud architecture, specifically within the Azure ecosystem, to build secure and resilient infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in modern frontend development using React.js and React Native, with a focus on building responsive and high-performance interfaces.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics in a hybrid work environment.
- A track record of driving engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural oversight, and the implementation of CI/CD best practices.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a premier institute, reflecting a strong foundation in computational logic and system design.
