The company offers an extensive portfolio of connected hardware, software, and services designed to optimize efficiency across homes, buildings, data centers, and industrial infrastructure. Through digital transformation and smart grid technologies, the organization helps businesses and consumers achieve sustainable, reliable, and energy-efficient operations worldwide.

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic and motivated Continuous Improvement & Performance Management Intern to join our Service Operations team for a minimum of 6 months.

This internship is an exciting opportunity to work and learn at the same time. You will gain exposure to how Services Operations works in a global context and learn more about the energy technology industry. You will have the opportunity to support continuous improvement programmes, work on governance and performance management initiatives, take ownership of your own workstreams, and participate in strategic meetings that will help you grow and gain insights into how transformation is managed at scale.

What will you do:

  • Supporting the Continuous Improvement & Performance Management team with governance design, process standardization, and transformation programme coordination across Service Operations.

  • Working on specific projects to improve reporting structures, build performance dashboards, and support the Cost-to-Serve model and other financial visibility tools.

  • Maintaining & leading improvement of programme reporting, action tracking, and deliverable management using tools like MS Planner to keep stakeholders aligned and accountable.

  • Leading content creation & communication delivery for the CI & PM team engagement, including internal communications, newsletters, surveys, and social media platforms.

  • Supporting AI & digital transformation initiatives such as Superminds, AI Scheduling Assistants, and other use cases that contribute to the One Services 2030 strategy.

  • Orchestrating & maintaining the report out of transformation initiatives, workshop summaries, meeting minutes, and action trackers to ensure strong follow-through and execution discipline.

  • Supporting the creation and standardization of templates, document formats, and governance frameworks to drive consistency across Service Operations deliverables.

  • Supporting all team members of the Continuous Improvement & Performance Management organization on a wide variety of support requests across the team’s five strategic axes: standardizing service operation processes, driving performance, anticipating future needs, fostering lean culture, and leaping with digital and AI.

What qualifications will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial), Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Excellent skills with PowerPoint & Excel, with the ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues through visualization and quantitative & qualitative data.

  • Effective communication skills to work with leaders, and the ability to capture the voice of leadership and translate them into clear and compelling messages.

  • Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get work done.

  • Ability to pay painstaking attention to important details.

  • Self-motivated, problem-solving skills and eager to learn while challenging the status quo.

  • Excellent in English, both written and spoken.

What's in it for me:

  • Hands-on experience supporting real projects that impact customers and business outcomes
  • Mentorship from professionals who are committed to helping you grow and succeed
  • Insight into end-to-end delivery processes spanning capital expenditure to operations
  • A welcoming, collaborative team culture where learning is encouraged and contributions matter
  • A meaningful opportunity to explore your career interests and build skills that set you up for success
