Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Are you an experienced electronics engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and seeing your designs come to life in high-volume production?

We're looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our product development team and play a key role in shaping the next generation of our products. In this position, you'll take technical ownership of advanced electronic designs throughout the entire product lifecycle, from early concept development and verification to industrialization and mass production.

This is a senior-level opportunity for someone with extensive experience in electronics development who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership and strategic decision-making.

What you'll do

As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for driving robust, high-quality electronic solutions that meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and verification of both analog and digital electronics
  • Creating, reviewing, and improving schematics to ensure technical excellence and design integrity
  • Driving product industrialization with a focus on:
    • Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
    • Design for Testability (DFT)
  • Ensuring compliance with EMC and ESD requirements throughout the development process
  • Contributing to and strengthening quality processes, design controls, and engineering best practices
  • Collaborating closely with PCB designers to optimize layout, performance, and manufacturability
  • Working alongside firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
  • Ensuring products meet applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Participating in design reviews, technical investigations, risk assessments, and key engineering decisions
  • Taking ownership of products throughout their full lifecycle, from concept and development to successful mass production and ongoing product support

What we're looking for

We're looking for a highly experienced engineer who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to work independently and guide critical development activities.

You bring:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in electronics design and verification.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Analog and digital electronics design
    • Schematic capture and electronic design tools
    • EMC/ESD design principles, testing, and validation
  • Proven experience taking products from development into industrialization and mass production
  • Solid understanding of:
    • PCB design principles and layout considerations
    • Embedded systems and hardware-software interaction
  • Experience working within structured development processes and quality management systems
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • The ability to drive technical initiatives and make sound engineering decisions independently

Nice to have

While not required, the following experience would be considered a strong advantage:

  • Working in cross-functional product development environments
  • Experience from regulated industries such as Telecom, Fire & Safety, Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Solutions, or Building Automation
  • Knowledge of verification methodologies and test strategies
  • Experience with 230V designs and battery-powered systems.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of sophisticated electronics development in an environment where technical expertise is valued and where your decisions will directly influence product performance, reliability, and long-term success. You'll work alongside experienced engineers while helping drive products from idea to reality.

What's in it for me?

  • Work on cutting-edge hardware systems that push the boundaries of technology and innovation
  • Collaborate with talented engineers across disciplines in a supportive, growth-focused environment
  • Access to advanced tools, training, and opportunities to deepen your technical expertise
  • Flexible work arrangements that support your professional and personal well-being
