The Role
SCYTALYS is looking for a skilled and motivated System Engineer to support the design, integration, and lifecycle management of complex systems and systems-of-systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze stakeholder needs and operational requirements to support system and subsystem definition
- Develop and maintain system architectures, requirements, interfaces, and design artifacts throughout the system lifecycle
- Apply MBSE principles and support the management of system models and requirements traceability
- Define, manage, and document system interfaces and interface control specifications
- Support integration, verification, validation, and acceptance activities by preparing test and compliance documentation
- Review system designs and ensure alignment with requirements, architecture, and project objectives
- Identify technical risks, trade-offs, and performance considerations and support mitigation activities
- Support system deployment, installation, and customer acceptance activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful system delivery
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and methodologies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
- BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Requirements Engineering, System Architecture & Design, MBSE, Integration Planning, or Verification & Validation
- Experience supporting technical specifications, requirements decomposition, and system design activities
- Working knowledge of system architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies
- Familiarity with MBSE principles and SysML or similar modeling tools
- Knowledge of system interfaces and structured data formats such as XML and JSON
- Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
- Understanding of computer networking concepts and architectures
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
- Fluency in English
