Business Intelligence Analyst | SEB, Kaunas

SEB isn’t just a bank - we are also a modern technology company with many talented IT professionals, including product owners, business developers, finance and risk experts, analysts, architects, and software developers. More than 200 systems and applications supporting our products, business processes, channels, and data are created and maintained within the Product & Technology Development department.

At SEB, our Business Intelligence team is responsible for solutions, which transform raw data from data warehouse into meaningful information. We create, adjust and maintain data warehouse tables, views and data marts, and we transform the data into BI dashboards and reports.

In this role, you will contribute to BI solutions from idea to production and see how your work supports data-driven decisions across SEB. If you enjoy turning business needs into practical data-driven solutions and feel comfortable discussing requirements with stakeholders as well as working hands-on with data and technology, you might be the colleague we are looking for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications for solution implementation
• Communicate and clarify solution requirements, functionality, and design decisions with business owners, project managers, software developers, and other stakeholders
• Work through the complete IT delivery lifecycle, including estimation, solution design, development support, documentation, testing, deployment, release, and post-release verification
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data loading processes, data models, WebFOCUS reports, and reporting solutions
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvements
• Actively participate in Delivery Team sprints, collaborate with team members, and contribute to sprint goals

• Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to clarify and challenge requirements when needed
• Analytical thinking with the ability to understand both detailed requirements and the bigger picture
• Experience translating business needs into technical or data-related solutions
• A proactive and responsible approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks forward
• Solid SQL skills and the ability to work directly with data
• Good understanding of data warehousing principles, data structures, schemas, and data modelling concepts.
• Hands-on experience in an IT development environment, with a clear understanding of how software and data solutions move from requirements to production
• Good written and spoken English for collaboration across the Baltics
