About the role

As an Engineering Lead - Integration Platform, you will be a part of the Securitas Group Integration Capability Center. Your work will directly influence our platform engineering and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture - you will be responsible for the realization of the platform architecture and will work closely with Securitas' architecture community and especially Integration Architects, supporting them with engineering-related decision-making.

• Platform Engineering Leadership - you will ensure that the solutions being developed conform to the architecture and meet agreed-upon standards, lead and participate in implementation assessments and reviews, ensuring the highest quality of technology solutions developed.

• Integration Platform Engineering

  • Config-driven integrations: You will drive our Config-Driven Integration Pipeline Framework rigorously, making onboarding of domain teams, projects, and new integrations repeatable.

  • Platform marketplace: Continuously make new adapters, connectors, and SDKs available in the integration marketplace for reuse and speed.

  • OpenTelemetry (OTel): We have adopted OpenTelemetry as our de facto standard for both application and integration infrastructure observability. You will evangelize the widespread use of the consumer SDK and OTel-compliant observability SDKs within the internal developer community.

• Platform Gateways: You will drive the runtime control plane for inbound and outbound data traffic between systems, SaaS and cloud environments for both application and agentic use cases.

• Platform Security - you will be responsible for making sure that the Integration Platform is secured based on Securitas Security principles, as well as industry best practices.

• Platform life-cycle management - you are expected to lead Integration Platform life-cycle including infra and related service versions, security controls etc.

  • Documentation - create and maintain up to date platform documentation.

  • Administration - you will be a key person involved in Platform administration, including among others access and permission management, platform cost management.

Your focus will be on the Integration domain in enterprise context, guiding both business and IT teams to make the best possible technology design and investment decisions, aligned with our strategies and company objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of working experience within platform engineering and the broader IT industry.

• 5+ years of relevant and documented Engineering experience from the integration domain and experience of integration platform development as well as associated technologies.

• Experience in driving change, leading an engineering roadmap and collaborating cross-functionally at all levels of a complex organization.

• IT/IS architecture experience in a platform engineering context.

• In-depth knowledge of creating and leading an Integration Platform.

• NET and Azure platform background.

• Experience with:

  • API Management

  • Azure Gateway / networking

  • Other core Azure integration components like API Management, Service Bus, Functions, MCP servers , MFT.

• Platform-oriented mindset

  • Experience building or operating platforms (not just single applications).

  • Understanding of integration platforms vs data platforms and how they fit together.

• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices and cloud tooling.

• English language proficiency at a professional business level.

• A pragmatic and persistent way of working, with a positive and open approach.

• Strong communication skills.

Working conditions

Location: Role is open for India, Gurugram - based candidates.

Working model: Hybrid.
