Lead Software Engineer, DevOps

Overview

Sedaro is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer to build our culture of operational excellence.In this role, you will integrate CI/CD, security, and observability tools and automation for our Kubernetes-based multi-cloud environment, as well as rallying your teammates toward best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Optimize multi-cloud production infrastructure for security, reliability, and cost efficiency

• Design and implement system observability with actionable alerting and measurable SLOs

• Drive automation through infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and continuous compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer scienceor equivalent experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems architecture

• Experience implementing CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability practices

• Proficiency in scripting and automation

Additional desirable experience:

• Track record implementing security controls and vulnerability management

• Experience leading incident response and root cause analysis

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform CDKTF

• Experience with AWSand/orAzure

• Experience with IL4/5+ and/or

  NIST 800-171

Compensation

• Competitive base salary, annual performance bonus, equity (where applicable), and full benefits package.
• Sedaro may offer a discretionary bonus for employees who obtain or transfer a clearance, with bonus levels varying based on clearance level achieved.
