SEEK is a Melbourne-based online employment marketplace that runs the SEEK job sites in Australia and New Zealand and the Jobstreet and Jobsdb platforms across Asia, connecting job seekers with employers and recruiters. Founded in 1997 and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, it employs more than 3,300 people across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand and holds minority stakes in other employment and education businesses. It hires software and data engineers, threat detection analysts, account managers serving recruiters, sales representatives, marketing, partnerships and customer success staff, and privacy counsel.

SEEK Pass is a trusted digital passport used by over 5 million people to manage and share their verified identity, credentials and documents. We aim to integrate across the HR ecosystem to provide more value, security and convenience for individuals and organisations in employment-related processes.

Our primary use case today is helping job seekers to stand out on SEEK by pre-verifying their qualifications, licences and other credentials so that employers can shortlist them with confidence and speed. We operate as a distinct cross-functional business unit, with integrations into SEEK’s job marketplaces across Asia-Pacific. Learn more about SEEK Pass at: https://seekpass.co

The Role

Behind every great product launch is a team making sure everything works beyond the screen. That is where you come in.

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our Launch Ops team and help bring new SEEK Pass products, features and improvements to life.

As the Operations Coordinator, you will support the successful delivery of changes across SEEK Pass products, features, tools, projects and workflows. Working closely with the Launch Ops team and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will contribute to activities across the full change lifecycle, including scoping, operational validation, readiness, Early Access, hypercare, documentation, training and business-as-usual handover. You will help ensure launches are operationally ready by reviewing workflows, gathering feedback, maintaining accurate launch information, preparing practical resources and identifying risks as well as opportunities for improvement.

You will get to see how products come together, understand what happens behind the scenes and play an important role in making every launch better than the last.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the support to learn, the space to ask questions and the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work.

What makes this role exciting?

  • Be part of what’s next: Get early exposure to new products, features and improvements before they reach our users
  • Make a real impact: Help identify challenges early, improve user experience and set operational teams up for success
  • Connect people and ideas: Collaborate with teams across the business and help turn complex changes into practical solutions
  • Grow skills that travel: Build hands-on experience across product development, operational readiness, testing and launch delivery
  • Improve how work gets done: Bring a fresh perspective, simplify processes and contribute to smarter, more scalable ways of working

You will contribute to the successful delivery of new products, features and operational changes by:

  • Supporting launch readiness through planning, coordination, stakeholder follow-up, and tracking key actions, decisions, dependencies and risks
  • Testing and validating new products, features and workflows to understand the end-to-end customer and operational experience, identify edge cases and recommend improvements
  • Supporting Early Access and hypercare activities by monitoring performance, gathering feedback and escalating issues that may impact our users or operational teams
  • Collaborating across teams including Product, Engineering and Operations to ensure operational requirements, risks and dependencies are understood and addressed
  • Creating operational documentation and training materials, including process guides, FAQs, communications and support resources that help teams prepare for change
  • Using feedback, operational insights and data to identify opportunities to improve customer experiences, operational processes and future launches
  • Supporting business-as-usual handover activities, ensuring teams have the knowledge, ownership and processes required for ongoing success
  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve operational tooling and increase scalability
  • Experience in operations, customer support, project coordination, service delivery or a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Curiosity, adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new products, technologies and ways of working
  • Strong customer focus and an appreciation of how operational decisions influence the customer experience
  • The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and know when to seek support or escalate issues
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to getting things done

It would be advantageous if you also have

  • Experience in a technology business, start-up or scale-up environment
  • Exposure to agile software development, product launches or cross-functional project delivery
  • Experience with operational tooling, ticketing systems, documentation platforms or process improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with data reporting or visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks or similar
  • Experience improving workflows, knowledge management, self-service tools or operational processes
  • An interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies that can improve operational efficiency and customer experience
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience

At SEEK, we are passionate about fostering a culture of inclusion and wellbeing that embraces and values the diversity of our people. We are a purpose-driven business that works with heart.

We know teams with diverse ideas, experiences and perspectives are more creative and critical to effective delivery and innovation. We welcome applications from people of different backgrounds and life experiences.

If you have the skills, curiosity and an adaptable approach but do not meet every responsibility or qualification listed, we still encourage you to apply.
