Drilling Engineer

Location: Lagos, Nigeria, with offshore assignments as required
Department: Production Operations
Reports to: Control Room Supervisor

• We are seeking a qualified Drilling Engineer to support the planning and safe execution of drilling operations.
• The successful candidate will prepare well plans, monitor drilling performance, analyze operational data, and collaborate with rig and office teams to ensure wells are delivered safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
• Relevant drilling engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of drilling operations, well design, and well control.
• Experience analyzing drilling data and using engineering software.
• Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel offshore or to field locations when required.
• Relevant well-control and offshore safety certifications, where required.
