About the job
As an Associate Business Development, you'll partner with clients to understand their business challenges and shape data and AI solutions that deliver measurable value. You'll lead client discovery, build business cases, and guide opportunities from first conversation to signed engagement, working closely with Sertis' technical and delivery teams. Our solutions span cloud migration, data platforms, business intelligence, and advanced analytics and AI.
In this role, you will get to:
- Engage directly with clients to understand their business goals, pain points, and operating context, acting as a trusted advisor from discovery through delivery.
- Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder interviews to frame problems, gather requirements, and prioritize use cases.
- Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and value propositions that translate data and AI capabilities into clear business outcomes.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and market sizing on emerging technologies and industry use cases to inform client recommendations and Sertis' commercial strategy.
- Support proposal development, including scoping, solution positioning, pricing inputs, and executive presentations.
- Bridge business and technical teams by translating client requirements into concept designs and working with engineers on technical due diligence and solution design.
- Participate in feature prioritization during POC and MVP phases, keeping delivery aligned with client value.
- Manage and support the opportunity pipeline and contribute to account growth by identifying follow-on and expansion opportunities.
You'll be successful if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in management or technology consulting, presales, solution consulting, or a similar client-facing role, involving data, cloud, or AI projects is a plus.
- Confidence working directly with clients, from C-level executives to working teams, and the ability to build credibility and trust quickly.
- Strong structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous business problems and form clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, able to communicate complex technical ideas in simple business terms.
- Experience facilitating workshops, running discovery sessions, or applying design thinking with clients.
- Solid research and analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, including business case and financial modeling.
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially PowerPoint/Slides and Excel/Sheets.
- Strong proficiency in English (both speaking and writing) and Native in Thai
- Nice to have: experience with proposal writing, commercial negotiation, or basic project management. A working understanding of data and AI technology trends, and curiosity to keep learning.
