In this role you will:

• Assist in tracking payables and receivables ageing reports.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments in coordination with business teams.
• Support issue escalation by gathering relevant data and communicating with stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation and approvals are in place for financial transactions.
• Support system testing and data validation for finance-related system implementations.
• Assist in process documentation and workflow optimization for finance operations.
• Assist in preparing reports for finance operations tracking and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Support audit requests by compiling necessary financial records and reports.
• Participate in on-going initiatives to improve streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize financial outcomes.
• Explore and learn by using an accounting software ERP system.
• Assist with data migration, collection and analysis for ERP system migration purposes.
• Maintain systematic workflows and filing systems.
• Assist with filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Provide strong support to the Accounting Team as they perform their duties.
• Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
• Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.

You're a great fit if you have/are:

• Completed or undergoing Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent. Alternatively, undergoing finance related professional studies (i.e. MICPA, CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, etc.).
• Able to join us in October for 4-6 months.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite
• Analytical skills and have the ability to work under pressure
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• An eye for detail and love for numbers
• An organized and flexible approach and ability to work independently.
• A proactive mindset and the drive to effect change and improvement.
• The ability to express and articulate ideas with an audience of different backgrounds.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
