IT LIMS Support Technician (Java)

Within the Corporate IT organization, you will join the IT Service Management team for LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems: G6 technology) providing technical support expertise:

• Resolve issues, maintain & improve application stability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of business-critical systems.

• Provide 2nd & 3rd level application support for the application.

• Graduate Level of studies and/or Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject

• Minimum of 1 - 2 years similar working experience

Required:

• Experience in application support & bug fixing

• Experience with Relational Databases (e.g.SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL)

• Experience in related support tools (e.g. Service Now)

• Experience developing or maintaining instrument interfaces or middleware using Java (knowledge of APIs, web services, XML/JSON).

• Experience in system maintenance, configuration management, and basic scripting for SQL.

• Familiarity with change control, incident management, and documentation standards in regulated environments.

Ideally:

• Knowledge of LIMS

• Understanding of laboratory workflows and data management processes.

• Experience with GIT projects’ repository

• Knowledge of Java patterns

• Good understanding of the Application Lifecycle Management

• Used to work in an international environment
