Assistant Warehouse Manager - Operations, Shopee (Location: Bắc Ninh)

1. Warehouse Operations Management:

• Supervise and coordinate daily inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound, and inventory control activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and achievement of KPIs for throughput, accuracy, and processing time.
• Effectively allocate and manage resources (personnel, equipment, warehouse space) to meet operational demands and optimize costs.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of all warehouse equipment and facilities.

2. Safety & Compliance:

• Develop, maintain, and rigorously enforce safety regulations, fire prevention (PCCC), and industrial hygiene standards throughout the warehouse facility.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure all staff comply with safety procedures.
• Investigate and promptly report incidents or accidents (if any), proposing preventive measures.

3. Process Improvement & Performance:

• Analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for improvement in warehouse processes.
• Proactively propose and implement initiatives to enhance processes, technology, and working methods to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Participate in the planning and execution of warehouse optimization projects.

4. Team Development & Management:

• Train, coach, and evaluate the performance of Field Leaders and warehouse staff.
• Develop competency building plans and skill training for employees to enhance their professional and technical capabilities.
• Address personnel issues, maintain a positive work environment, and encourage collaboration and engagement.

5. Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare regular reports on warehouse operational performance (KPIs, costs, quality) and present them to the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilize data to make informed management decisions and propose operational strategies.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with other departments such as OPEX, IT, Customer Service, and HR to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.

Other tasks are assigned by the Company from time to time.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of management experience in an operational environment, with at least 2 years in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing management/supervisory role. Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or 3PL is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.

• Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (Vietnamese and English).
• Proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Knowledge: Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma is an advantage.
