Business Intelligence Analyst (Fraud) - Shopee

• Support the development and maintenance of business metrics, dashboards, and reports to help stakeholders monitor business performance and make data-driven decisions;
• Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving business and operational performance across functions such as Fraud, Risk, and Payments;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather reporting requirements, and provide data-driven insights under the guidance of senior team members;
• Prepare regular business performance reports and presentations, helping stakeholders understand key trends and performance metrics;
• Ensure data accuracy by validating reports, troubleshooting data issues, and supporting continuous improvements to reporting processes;
• Learn and apply analytical tools and techniques to support business decision-making and contribute to ongoing projects.

• Fresh graduates or candidates with less than one year of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics roles with proven business impact;
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese;
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define the right metrics to describe the state of the business - both on a macro-level and a micro-level;
• Hard skills for Data Analytics:
  • Strong experience in SQL;
  • Programming language: Python.
• Nice-to-have:
  • Data wrangling and analysis with Python;
  • Domain knowledge in Payment, E-wallet, Banking, or Fraud Detection;
  • Domain knowledge in E-commerce, or being a frequent e-commerce buyer;
  • Experience with User Experience analysis.
