The Role

We’re looking for an experienced full stack engineer who combines strong engineering judgment with hands-on experience using AI coding agents.

We take an AI-first approach across our engineering workflow: understanding requirements, exploring solutions, implementing features, writing tests, reviewing changes, and debugging issues.

You’ll work closely with Product and QA to deliver features from implementation through release and help improve how our team uses AI. For larger features and changes, you’ll work from technical plans prepared by the team. For smaller tasks, you’ll help define a practical approach.

You’ll be responsible for understanding the code, reviewing generated output, and making sure what we ship is correct, maintainable, and ready for production.

What You’ll Do

• Implement features and improvements based on product requirements and technical plans, using AI coding agents.
• Break smaller tasks into clear steps and provide agents with relevant instructions and context.
• Use AI agents to implement, test, review, and refactor code across the frontend and backend.
• Review generated code, identify gaps, and verify behavior against requirements.
• Take ownership of your work through implementation, testing, release, and follow-up.
• Write and maintain automated tests.
• Debug production issues and improve application reliability and performance.
• Work with existing systems, making practical improvements while keeping delivery moving.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including shipping and maintaining SaaS products.
• Strong full stack development skills and proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience with Vue.js or strong experience with a comparable frontend framework.
• Experience with PHP and Symfony or Laravel. Our backend uses Symfony.
• A solid understanding of APIs, relational databases, data modeling, and asynchronous workflows.
• Ability to understand existing codebases, investigate unfamiliar behavior, and make maintainable changes.

• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Cursor in real development work.
• Ability to turn requirements into clear instructions, provide relevant context, and guide agents through complex tasks.
• Strong judgment when reviewing AI-generated code, including recognizing incorrect assumptions, missing edge cases, and security or performance risks.
• Ability to investigate and complete work when an agent gets stuck or produces an incomplete solution.
• Willingness to continuously improve how you and the team use AI across the development lifecycle.

• You take responsibility for the outcome of your work, including code generated by AI.
• You write meaningful automated tests and verify changes before shipping.
• You consider correctness, security, performance, and maintainability when making engineering decisions.
• You communicate clearly, raise questions early, and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and QA.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience configuring and customizing Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar coding agents.
• Experience creating reusable skills, project instructions, sub-agents, or automated agent workflows.
• AWS experience, particularly with services such as ECS, RDS / Aurora, SQS, and S3.
• Familiarity with Playwright or other E2E testing tools.
• Experience building internal developer tooling and improving development workflows.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and improving production reliability.
• Willingness to take on unfamiliar tasks and learn technologies or parts of the system you haven’t worked with before.
