Sia

Sia is a French management consultancy founded in 1999, known until 2024 as Sia Partners, that combines traditional strategy and operations advice with a large in-house data and artificial intelligence capability. Its consultants work for banks, insurers, energy and utility companies, telecommunications operators and public sector clients on transformation, regulation, risk and technology programmes, supported by its own AI products rather than only slide-based recommendations. Headquartered in Paris, the firm employs several thousand consultants across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

About Sia

Sia is a next-generation, global management consulting group. Founded in 1999, we were born digital. Today our strategy and management capabilities are augmented by data science, enhanced by creativity, and driven by responsibility. We're optimists for change, and we help clients initiate, navigate, and benefit from transformation. We believe optimism is a force multiplier, helping clients mitigate downside and maximize opportunity. With expertise across a broad range of sectors and services, our 3,000 consultants serve clients worldwide from 48 locations in 19 countries. Our expertise delivers results. Our optimism transforms outcomes.

Sia’s Cybersecurity & AI Trust team is the powerhouse of our firm’s innovation. With over 100 experts worldwide, we tackle projects from proof-of-concept to large-scale deployment, always pushing the boundaries of AI capabilities. By joining Sia’s Cybersecurity team, you’ll step into a vibrant, collaborative environment that nurtures professional growth and empowers you to shape the future of consulting.

The Cybersecurity Manager will join Sia’s Cybersecurity & AI Trust Business Line in North America, leading client engagements from scoping through delivery and playing an active role in growing the practice.

This role combines hands-on cybersecurity expertise with consulting delivery and business development experience. The successful candidate will manage engagements and teams, build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, and contribute to proposals and offer development across one or more of our eight offerings: Strategy, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Data Protection, Offensive Security, Resilience and Training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity engagements, owning scope, quality, budget and timeline, with proactive and regular reporting to clients and to the Senior Manager or Partner.
  • Serve as day-to-day client lead, building strong relationships with client-side stakeholders up to senior security and risk leaders, and being recognized as a trusted advisor.
  • Work with clients to understand their cybersecurity, risk, compliance and AI trust challenges and shape tailored solutions that address them.
  • Lead, coach and mentor consultants and senior consultants on engagements, reviewing deliverables, evaluating achievements and supporting their technical and professional growth.
  • Lead the design and writing of commercial proposals and identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts and with new clients.
  • Support account development and go-to-market initiatives across priority offerings, in partnership with Senior Managers and Partners.
  • Manage staffing and resource planning for your engagements, working with the Senior Manager and staffing team to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Participate in hiring, career development, performance evaluation and retention of cybersecurity talent, acting as a career coach for a group of team members.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity and AI security trends, regulations and threats, and bring them into client work and Sia’s offers.
  • Contribute to the team’s internal initiatives (Learning and Development, Squads, Lunch and Learns, Cyber Events) and to the firm’s eminence through articles, white papers, webinars, and representation at professional events and trade shows.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports on engagements and business development activities to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field from an accredited college or university. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity within a consulting firm or a cybersecurity solutions, service provider or integrator, including at least 2 years leading engagements, workstreams or teams.
  • Demonstrated contribution to business development and client relationship management, including proposal writing and account growth in the U.S. market.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 270xx, NIST, CIS, NYDFS, FFIEC).
  • Deep expertise in at least two of our eight offerings, with experience in risk management, compliance, incident response or security operations.
  • Working knowledge of networks, operating systems, cloud (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) and major security technologies such as IAM, EDR, DLP and CASB.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or ISO 27001 LI/LA are highly desirable. High potential candidates without certifications may join our internal Cyber Training program within the Sia Cyber Institute.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, writing and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Attributes for Success:

  • You are a supportive leader who develops others and is eager to share knowledge with colleagues and clients.
  • You are intellectually curious, with the entrepreneurial spirit to help develop innovative offers and solutions.
  • You thrive on high-stakes subjects and want to take on responsibility quickly within a dynamic, supportive team.
  • You are committed to delivering high-quality work while meeting client expectations and deadlines.
