How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the governance and continual improvement of the integrated EQS management system, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements, internal and external audits, management reviews, and certification readiness.
  • Coordinate the plant's EQS performance-management process, including the definition, consolidation, validation, and follow-up of key indicators such as Non-Conformance Costs (NCC), Cost Overrun, quality performance, environmental performance, and health and safety results; analyze trends, escalate deviations, and ensure effective action plans with process owners.
  • Coordinate the legal and regulatory compliance framework for environment, occupational safety, and health, including the legal register, STPS obligations, permits, evaluations, evidence, and closure of identified gaps.
  • Drive environmental sustainability and decarbonization initiatives related to energy, greenhouse-gas emissions, water, waste, pollution prevention, and resource efficiency, ensuring reliable data and timely reporting.
  • Define and coordinate the EQS competence and training strategy, ensuring role-based qualification, awareness, learning from events, and effective deployment of Zero Harm, Zero Defects, and continuous-improvement programs.
  • Lead and develop the EQS Excellence team and facilitate cross-functional problem solving using risk-based thinking, root-cause analysis, CAPA, Human and Organizational Performance principles, and digital tools to improve process effectiveness.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Environmental, Chemical, Quality, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in EQS, EHS, quality systems, operational excellence, or integrated management systems within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a transformer manufacturing company; experience coordinating people or cross-functional programs is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001; qualification as an internal or lead auditor is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of applicable Mexican environmental, occupational safety, and health regulations, including STPS requirements, and experience maintaining compliance evidence and action plans.

  • Understanding of sustainability and decarbonization topics, including greenhouse-gas accounting, energy and resource efficiency, waste management, and pollution prevention.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and analyzing EQS and operational performance indicators, including Non-Conformance Costs (NCC), Cost Overrun, quality, environmental, and health and safety metrics; ability to use digital tools to improve reporting, visibility, and decision-making.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder-management, facilitation, and change-management skills; professional English proficiency and the ability to collaborate in an international environment.

EQS Excellence Coordinator with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing. The successful candidate combines integrated management-system expertise with regulatory compliance, sustainability, training, data analysis, and continuous-improvement capabilities.
