Business Development & Client Services Coordinator

About Your New Employer

  • Join an established, specialist financial services organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality pension administration and client support.
  • Work in a collaborative and growing team where you will have the opportunity to shape processes, improve ways of working and take ownership of an evolving role.
  • Become part of a modern organisation that values professionalism, client service, operational excellence and continuous development.

About Your New Job

As the Business Development & Client Services Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Business Development and Pension Consultancy teams.

You will be responsible for coordinating activity throughout the client lifecycle, from initial business development enquiries and proposal preparation through to employer implementation, member onboarding and ongoing client engagement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Business Development and Pension Consultants with proposals, quotations, meeting preparation, documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Taking ownership of the new client implementation process, including coordinating documentation, tracking requirements and monitoring implementation timelines.
  • Liaising with employers and internal teams to ensure all required information is received and new clients are onboarded efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate prospect, client and engagement information on MS Dynamics CRM.
  • Preparing reports, meeting packs, campaign information and supporting documentation for client meetings.
  • Coordinating follow-up actions arising from meetings, consultations and client engagement activity.
  • Supporting CRM campaigns, employer outreach and member engagement initiatives.
  • Tracking outstanding actions, identifying potential delays and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Coordinating the administrative elements of new member onboarding and supporting bulk member installations.
  • Working closely with Business Development, Pension Administration, Marketing and other internal teams to ensure processes are followed and continuously improved.
  • Making practical suggestions to improve workflows, controls and the overall client experience.

This is an operationally focused role. You will not be providing financial or pension advice; instead, you will ensure that processes are implemented effectively, records are accurate and client commitments are followed through.

What Skills You Need

  • At least five years’ experience in administration, client services, financial services, pensions, insurance or another regulated environment.
  • Strong experience coordinating multiple workflows, stakeholders and deadlines.
  • A highly organised, process-driven approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
  • Previous experience using a CRM or workflow-management system. Experience with MS Dynamics is advantageous.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • The ability to take ownership, challenge inefficient processes and suggest practical improvements.
  • Confidence working with internal teams, employers and other external stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of the importance of accurate record keeping and compliance in a regulated environment.

Experience supporting a business development, client relationship or consultancy team would be beneficial. A QFA qualification, or a willingness to complete relevant QFA or APA modules in the future, is also desirable.

What's on Offer

  • Salary of €50,000-€60,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working model, standard hours of 9:00am-5:00pm and 23 days’ annual leave.
  • Competitive pension contribution, income protection and death-in-service benefit.
  • Modern offices in Dublin 14 with free parking, refreshments, snacks and lunch options available on site.
  • Weekly lunch provided on Wednesdays, weekly Pilates classes and an active sports and social club.
  • The opportunity to shape a newly enhanced role, influence processes and develop your career within a specialist financial services environment.
