WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

You will be joining an innovative application development team withinSimCorp'sProduct Division. We provide a cloud native SaaS product builton Azure using modern development principles,technologiesand practices.

The product, Digital Engagement Platform (DEP) has been operational for over5years and basedon client feedback and our own experience we have begun to lift the product to the next level, modernizing architecture and tech stack so we can scale DEP for a much larger audience than we can today.

This is why we need you - to helptest and ensure the quality assurance of the new DEP 2.0that we arebuildingthat can support the biggest clients, asset managers, across the globe.

The future success of our SaaS hinges on the ongoing enhancement of the application and the refinement of associated processes and tools. QAwill continuebea vital element of this journey. While we have achieved remarkable milestones, there are still challenges to conquer.

Yourcontributionto therobustnessof the DEPwillbepivotalaswecontinuallyonboardnewclients,ensuringhigh performance, top-notchsecurity, andexceptionaluserexperiencefor a diverseclientele.

What you willbe responsible for

As part of your role, youwillcollaborate with three agile development teams, each consisting ofapproximately 5-7members. Your daily tasks will involve understanding and questioning customer requirements, discussing solutions, implementing automated tests for chosen solutions, some manualtestingand providing support. The tools youwilluse are centered around .NET,Data Build Tool (dbt),TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure.

Ourcurrentand near futureprioritiesinclude ensuring good maintainability, observability, high system performance, scalability, continuous integration, and deployment. Additionally, youwillactively contribute to improving the product anditsrelated processes within our modern cloud-based environment. Expect toleverageyourcurrentskills while alsodelving into andacquiringknowledgeaboutcutting-edgetechnologies and testing methodologies in the cloud.

In addition toimplementingcustomer features, weplace a strong emphasis on continualimprovement ateverylevel:Across the entirecompany, within divisions, product areas, teams, andeven at theindividual level. Youreveryday taskswill involvetackling issues such ashow to streamline build and deploymentdurations, enhance collaboration, andincrease the degree of test automation.

Overall, your contributions willspread acrossfollowingprimaryareas:

Focus on test automation for the DEP product

• Automation of Testing in general

• Automate load and data ingestion from multiple sources

• Contributeto the test strategies

• Enhancement in Test Management and Processes(such asplanning,structuring,tracking,coordinating releases,assessingetc.)

• ConductingManual Tests(while there is still a need for some manual testing, your efforts will accelerate our progress,renderingit lessrequiredover time)
