Data Centre Project Manager(Mandarin Speaker)

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of data centre BPO operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable 24-hour operations.

The role will involve managing project schedules, resources, budgets, manpower, and key stakeholders while working closely with international clients, corporate management, local technical teams, and relevant Malaysian authorities. The ideal candidate should have strong project management experience in data centre or other mission-critical environments, together with a solid understanding of critical data centre infrastructure.

• Project Execution – Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of data centre BPO operations, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and according to agreed objectives. 
• Schedule & Budget Control – Develop and maintain master project schedules, plan resources, monitor project costs, and ensure effective budget control. 
• Stakeholder Management – Act as the key point of contact for international clients, corporate executives, and local data centre technical teams. 
• Regulatory & Compliance Coordination – Coordinate with relevant Malaysian government agencies and authorities when required to ensure operational and regulatory requirements are met. 
• Manpower Management – Plan manpower requirements, support recruitment and team building, and ensure sufficient staffing for efficient 24-hour data centre operations. 
• Team & Operational Coordination – Coordinate across different teams and functions to ensure smooth daily operations, timely issue resolution, and effective project execution. 
• Project Performance Monitoring – Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and work with relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. 
• Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years of experience in data centre or other mission-critical environments. 
• Strong understanding of critical data centre infrastructure, including high-voltage power distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, chillers, cooling systems, BMS, and EPMS. 
• Fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken. 
• Strong project planning, coordination, resource management, and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills. 
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to manage teams supporting 24-hour data centre operations. 
• Able to work with international clients, senior management, technical teams, and external stakeholders. 
• Willing to work in a fast-paced and mission-critical environment.
