Job Description
The Senior Manager, Digital Product is an engineering-adjacent, delivery-first squad lead responsible for driving high-velocity sprint execution across SingPost’s digital storefronts (Mobile App, Web, and physical touchpoints). Operating directly in the trenches, this role translates strategic experience blueprints and Figma wireframes into zero-ambiguity JIRA specifications, manages augmented development and design teams, and enforces strict UAT/staging release gates.
This is an engineering-adjacent, delivery-first role who runs our day-to-day squad delivery, translates strategic design frameworks into technical execution blocks, and enforces uncompromised quality standards across our channels. While the Senior Manager will align stakeholders and shield our core strategic roadmap dependencies, their primary focus will be in the trenches: structuring user stories, driving technical sprint velocity, and managing the day-to-day work tasks of our augmented design units. They will translate high-level design wireframes into granular engineering specifications, act as the hard gatekeeper for experience tokens in UAT, and guarantee that what gets built matches our master intent exactly.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & High-Velocity Sprint Management
Backlog Administration:Own, groom, and maintain the primary DX product backlog and delivery roadmap inside JIRA with absolute rigor
Sprint Orchestration:Lead all tactical scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, ticket sizing, and retrospectives) to maintain high cross-functional engineering velocity
Blocker Removal:Proactively identify, track, and clear operational, data, or resource dependencies that threaten target release dates
Requirement Transformation & Spec Translation
Functional Spec Engineering:Ingest user research blueprints and mid-fidelity Figma wireframes, transforming them into comprehensive, zero-ambiguity functional technical requirements for engineering teams
User Story Architecture:Deconstruct complex customer workflows into structured, logical, and estimated JIRA user stories complete with explicit acceptance criteria
Scope Definition:Partner with the Tech Lead to establish clean execution scopes, ensuring developers receive clear inputs that eliminate guesswork during sprint cycles
System Compliance & Quality Gatekeeping
UAT Validation Pass:Act as the final operational gatekeeper within Staging and UAT environments, inspecting application views before they are checked into production
Design Token Enforcement:Strictly validate front-end code against our master Figma component libraries and design tokens, rejecting layout implementations that drift from certified parameters
Telemetry Verification:Mandate and test that all analytics data hooks, event schemas, and journey tracking tags are hardcoded accurately by engineers to ensure unalterable analytics data capture
Resource & Vendor Orchestration
Augmentation Alignment:Directly coordinate the day-to-day tasks, sprint velocity, and visual output of our augmented UX Design generalists
Delivery Governance:Act as the immediate tactical authority over external vendor execution squads, ensuring their development blocks integrate flawlessly into our horizontal roadmap timeline
Requirements
Core Product Capabilities
At least 5 years experience in a relevant Digital Product Management lead role
Advanced JIRA & Agile Mechanics:Complete, hands-on mastery of JIRA software, sprint structures, release management tools, and scrum framework mechanics
Technical Specifications:Exceptional capability to author clear, logically rigorous technical specifications and functional user stories that software developers can execute immediately
Systemic UI Literacy:A practical, working understanding of modern interface structures, layout code rules (e.g., Flexbox, responsive points), component logic, and API data payloads
Telemetry & Tracking Mastery:Deep experience defining custom analytics event tracking matrices, data-layer specs, and analytical validation tags
AI Literacy:Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools daily to accelerate product management output and prototype functional software concepts (vibe coding)
Experience in product management for logistics, mobile package tracking, or multi-step checkout and reconciliation systems would be an advantage
Experience using Figma inspection tools to extract specific design token values and asset specifications for development tickets would be an advantage
Mindset & Approach
The Coordinator:Spends most of their day in JIRA backlogs or engineering scoping alignments, thriving on shipping clean, unblocked sprints and managing operational deadlines
The Pragmatist:Balances long-term design ideals with the immediate release realities of a high-volume logistics business, focusing on moving code through the pipeline cleanly
The Gatekeeper:Possesses the strict operational confidence required to reject non-compliant engineering code or missing data schemas in UAT, maintaining complete design and telemetry standards
