We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and operational excellence of cloud platforms supporting mission-critical telco services. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on cloud operations experience, sound incident-management judgement, and the ability to improve operational resilience through automation and continuous improvement.

Operate and maintain production cloud platforms across AWS and Azure to meet availability, performance, and operational-readiness targets for 24x7 support.
Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and lead high-severity or complex cloud incidents, driving service restoration within agreed SLAs and MTTR targets.
Coordinate incident response across cloud, network, security, and application teams, ensuring clear and timely stakeholder communication throughout recovery.
Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, and reduce incident recurrence through structured problem and change management.
Improve operational resilience through automation, self-healing, alert optimization, Infrastructure-as-Code, and continuous improvement of runbooks and operational documentation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex cloud platform issues using logs, metrics, alerts, and relevant monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
Ensure cloud operations comply with security, regulatory, governance, and change controls, including supporting audits, vulnerability remediation, IAM, and operational risk management.
Provide on-call guidance and escalation support to junior engineers, and share operational best practices and lessons learned across teams.
Assess and escalate major risks, outages, policy exceptions, architecture deviations, and high-risk or non-standard changes to the appropriate authority.
Skills for Success
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, with 3-6 years of relevant cloud operations or infrastructure experience.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; cloud networking, security and IAM; ITSM and on-call operations; and scripting or automation. Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes/container experience, telco or regulated-environment experience, and relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
