Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will drive profitable growth for a strategic retail customer by managing commercial strategy, negotiations, pricing, promotions, and trade investments. You will lead customer-facing execution across Joint Business Planning, shelf improvement, and key commercial projects while working closely with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable sales growth for a strategic retail customer, managing revenue, pricing, promotions, assortment and trade investments.

  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans and customer strategies in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Lead key commercial projects related to customer strategy, shelf optimization, merchandising and execution.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders through effective negotiation and fact-based presentations.

  • Analyze customer and category performance, identify growth opportunities and translate insights into actionable commercial plans.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Category Management, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure effective execution.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in FMCG sales and/or Key Account Management.

  • Strong experience managing strategic retail customers and commercial negotiations.

  • Proven experience with Joint Business Planning, pricing, promotions and trade spend.

  • Excellent analytical, influencing and negotiation skills with a strong commercial mindset.

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English; comfortable working in a hybrid, project-driven environment.
