Role Description As a Senior Mortgage Process Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating mortgage applications, supporting team performance, improving processes, and maintaining high service and quality standards. You will play a key role in guiding colleagues, developing training initiatives, analyzing processes, and driving continuous improvement within the Mid Office department.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement training programs for team members and colleagues.
- Create, analyze, and report on dashboards and performance metrics.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing leave and sick leave records, and processing authorizations.
- Monitor and coordinate security incidents, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Conduct job interviews and manage onboarding, guiding colleagues through working procedures.
- Participate in projects and working groups to improve internal processes.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.
- Take ownership of specific focus areas, such as telephony coaching, quality control, internal audits, complaints, training, and risk management.
Requirements - HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Coordinator or Team Leader, ideally in financial services.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent command of Excel.
- Good advisory and communication skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with flexibility and a proactive approach.
- Willingness to obtain WFT Basic and Mortgage Credit diplomas within the first year.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Underwriter with system knowledge of Hypocasso and Accelo.
- Mortgage knowledge and experience in mortgage processing is essential.
- Ability to explain complex matters patiently and clearly.
