SIX Trade Repository, part of the Securities Services Business Unit, sits at the heart of derivatives reporting in the Swiss financial center. As a Strategy & Operations Intern, you will support the CEO on M&A, product and platform strategy, while working alongside the Head of Product and Operations and the Head of Client Support on day-to-day activities and improvement initiatives. This combination offers broad exposure to both the strategic development and operational delivery of financial market infrastructure services.

What You Will Do
- support the CEO on strategic initiatives and M&A activities through research, analysis and the preparation of decision-making materials
- contribute to the development and implementation of SIX Trade Repository’s product and platform strategy
- prepare market and competitor analyses, business cases and management presentations in collaboration with Business, Strategy/M&A and IT teams
- support the Head of Product and Operations and the Head of Client Support in day-to-day activities and cross-functional projects
- assist with client onboarding and technical coordination, and help address business and technical queries together with the relevant specialists
- contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational quality, efficiency and the overall client experience
- take on additional responsibilities based on your interests, strengths and development goals
What You Bring
- university degree in economics, finance, management or a related field; an engineering background combined with a strong interest in finance is also welcome
- initial professional experience in banking, asset management, management consulting or a related environment is an advantage
- strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across different teams and stakeholder groups
- good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
