One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford - a complex, high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services.
We currently have a great opportunity to join our Logistics Department for a Logistics Operative, to assist in the delivery of a stores service on site - which includes Stores, Mail & Scanning and Site Services).
As the Logistics Operative, you will:
- Receive and sort all external mail
- Deliver all external and internal mail to internal postal points.
- Provide EOD Scanning Services in support of all departmental work groups.
- Ensure all mail and private parcels are handled in accordance with the relevant regulations.
- Account for items of stores on the MOD MJDI system.
- Carry out filing of all auditable documentation as directed by the Line Manager.
We are looking for:
- A good sound knowledge of Stores/Mail accounting procedures.
- Proven record of good customer service
- Good Health & Safety knowledge and attention to detail.
- Driving Experience. Cat B Licence (Desirable).
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
